This tropical bird park opened in 1987 and has a fascinating
selection of birds ranging from the common pigeon to the spectacular
peacock, with almost everything in between, including parrots, tucans,
cockatoos, swans, ducks and even ostriches.
Pine-shaded walkways climb the lower slopes of the hill as far as
the foot of the castle walls, leading to more caged areas and a cactus
garden. In summer the park holds regular parrot shows for the children.
