Right in the centre of the city, housed in a 17th century inn, this is a fun museum especially for children.
When the building was bought and restored in the 1970s, the aim was to ensure that Malaga's ethnographic heritage wasn't lost. The intention was to show everyday life in Malaga and the province, its most characteristic features, its customs, activities and traditions.
The building has 19 exhibition halls on two floors, recreating aspects of everyday rural and urban life and customs of the inhabitants of Malaga over the centuries.
