The Parador of Granada lies within the gardens of the Alhambra amongst fountains, trees and arches. It is a former Franciscan convent, with a mixture of Arabic and Christian architecture, where catholic kings were buried until 1521 when they were moved to the Royal Chapel.
The restaurant offers traditional dishes plus local specialities of gazpacho (cold Andalucian soup), tortilla de Sacromonte (omelette) and piononos de Santa Fe (cake), served under the coffered ceiling of the dining room or on the summer terrace. |
