The constellation of Camelopardalis is one of six circumpolar constellations and, as such, can be seen year round from northern latitudes. February is the best
month for mid-Northern latitudes.
Camelopardalis is Latin for giraffe. When dark conditions allow most of the stars to be seen, it still takes a lot of imagination to see a shape resembling a giraffe!
