Almeria airport is situated 10 kilometres to the east of the city on the main coast road N-340. It is the second most important airport in Andalucia, after Malaga for servicing foreign visitors.
There are several leading car hire companies based at the airport. Buses run between the centre of the city and the airport at least every half an hour from 7.00h to 21.00h, and taxis are also available.
There are national scheduled flights connected to other Spanish cities and international charter flights. |
