Almeria

Services the eastern end of Andalucia with flights connected to European cities. Almeria airport is situated 10 kilometres to the east of the city on the main coast road N-340. It is the second most important airport in Andalucia, after Malaga for servicing foreign visitors. There are several leading car hire companies based at the airport. Buses run between the centre of the city and the airport at least every half an hour from 7.00h to 21.00h, and taxis are also available. There are national scheduled flights connected to other Spanish cities and international charter flights.

Gibraltar

Gibraltar airport is situated 2 kilometres from the town centre adjacent to the frontier with Spain. It is easier to walk across the frontier with Spain than to take a car as there can be long delays to get across the border. The Spanish border guards deliberately hold up and search the traffic due to the continued dispute over ownership. There is a continual bus service to and from Gibraltar town and taxis are also available. If visiting Spain, car hire is available in La Linea which is the town on the other side of the frontier.
Flights are connected to Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead and Manchester and also to Morocco at Tangiers, Casablanca and Marrakech.

Jerez

Jerez airport is situated 5 kilometres to the north of the city on the N4 motorway. It is a small but efficient and growing airport.
There are national flights connected to other Spanish cities and international flights connected to Gatwick and Stanstead in the UK.

Major European transport hub with daily flights throughout Europe, direct flights to New York also now runs at certain times of the year. Malaga´s airport, the Pablo Ruiz Picasso, is situated 6 kilometres to the west of Malaga city and 6 kilometres to the east of Torremolinos, just off the main coast road N-340. There are many leading car hire companies based in and at the airport and a train station outside the international terminal from where trains run to the city every 10 mins to half an hour from 7.15h to 23.45h. Buses run from the airport to the city every half an hour from 7.00h to 24.00h and from the city bus station to the airport from 6.30h to 23.30h. Taxis are also available. Before checking in, the Centro Plaza hosts several services, bars and restaurants and, after the police control, there is a commercial centre with twenty different shops plus bars and restaurants.

Granada airport is situated 16 kilometres to the west of the city on the A92 Seville motorway. There are several leading car hire companies based at the airport. Buses run between the centre of the city and the airport to link with flight schedules, and taxis are also available.
There are national flights connected to other Spanish cities and, in recent years, an increasing number of international flights to UK airports have been introduced.
