The abundant local produce is celebrated each year at the annual Fiesta del Campo. During this festival folklore performances commence on a stage by the picturesque bridge crossing the river while visitors are offered local dishes including “baticate”, an avocado and cinnamon shake. The fiesta continues into the night and includes a huge paella accompanied by beer and wine. Details of this and other annual festivals can be found at the fiestas link at the bottom of this page.

There are, as always, several bars and restaurants in the village plus La Vaqueria, an excellent arts and crafts centre with bistro.
