Chilches is a small village set back from Chilches Beach, 12 kilometres to the east of Malaga, between Benajarafe and Rincon de la Victoria in the region of Axarquia.
Chilches has a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere with a good community spirit and several bars and restaurants. In recent years, new villas have been built in the surrounding areas enjoying the same stunning sea views as the village itself.

Here you will find Spain as it used to be. An area famous for its wine, its olive oil and, more recently, its tropical fruit – mangoes, avocados, lychees and guavas. Along the coast there are safe, sandy beaches with friendly merenderos selling sizzling sardines whilst, just a few miles inland, you can discover other little whitewashed villages and harnessed pairs of oxen tilling the fields.
